Visiting the Statue of Liberty is a truly unforgettable experience and a must-do for anyone coming to New York City. The ferry ride from Battery Park is smooth and scenic, offering beautiful views of the Manhattan skyline and the harbor. As you approach Liberty Island, seeing the statue up close is awe-inspiring—an iconic symbol of freedom, hope, and the American dream. The grounds are well maintained, with plenty of space to walk around, relax, and take photos. The museum on the island is excellent, offering a rich history of the statue’s construction, symbolism, and role in welcoming immigrants. If you plan ahead, I highly recommend booking tickets to access the pedestal or crown for even more incredible views and a unique perspective of the statue and surroundings. We visited with family and had a wonderful time exploring the island, learning its history, and just soaking in the atmosphere. The audio tour was very informative and made the visit even more meaningful. Be sure to allow at least a few hours for the trip, including time on Ellis Island if you choose to visit both. Overall, the Statue of Liberty is an inspiring and powerful experience—well worth the visit!

We took a boat tour to see the Statue of Liberty, and honestly — it was such a cool and meaningful experience 🇺🇸✨ Until now, we had only ever seen the Statue of Liberty in movies, TV shows, or photos — it always felt like something far away, part of the big screen. But seeing it in real life for the first time… that moment stays with you. It’s iconic, powerful, and absolutely beautiful from the water. 🚤🌊 The tour itself was relaxing and informative. It gave us time to take in the view, snap some photos, and just appreciate being so close to one of the most recognized landmarks in the world. We did this on day 3 of our trip, and it felt like the perfect timing — not too early when you’re still adjusting, but not too late when you’ve already seen too much. We went around 11:00 AM, and it wasn’t overly crowded, which made it even more enjoyable. 💡 If you’re coming to New York, I definitely recommend making time to see the Statue of Liberty. It’s not just a symbol of the city — it’s a symbol of the country 🇺🇸 And experiencing it in person gives you a new appreciation for that. 📸 Bring your camera, soak in the moment, and enjoy the breeze from the boat — it’s totally worth it. 👉 RECOMMEND 🗽 (Personally mine)
