This is hands down one of the best museums in London. If you’re looking to see real British artifacts, skip the “British” Museum and come here instead. There is so much authentic history packed into this place, it’s fascinating and absolutely beautiful. One of the highlights is the famous Cast Courts, which feature replicas of iconic statues from around the world. The Raphael Cartoons room is stunning and full of detail, you’ll want to take your time in there. There are tons of exhibits, including artifacts from the Middle East, India, China, and more. The Great Bed of Ware was fun to look at, it’s massive! It looks like at least five people could fit in it… depending on their weight, of course (lol). Overall, this is a really interesting museum where you can easily spend 2 to 4 hours. It’s free to enter, and we didn’t need tickets in advance. When we arrived, there was a lovely lady offering a free two-hour guided tour. I’m not sure if she’s always there, but it was a great bonus. I highly recommend visiting this museum!

This is a spectacular museum in all respects. The architecture and internal features and décor are a work of art in themselves and extremely impressive. The museum is free to enter although a donation is appreciated and there is no wait or booking needed. This museum is vast over many floors and wings and I am quite certain that we missed some of it. I think I did my daily 10,000 steps just wandering around here!! The collection is extremely impressive and covers all periods of time, regions and subjects. You could easily spend all day here and not adequately cover everything. There is a beautiful courtyard area with a lovely water feature and a coffee shop. This is a fantastic museum and a must visit!

The V & A Museum is a wonderful museum to visit and learn about history. The current exhibition of the Cartier history is sensational and worth visiting. Make sure you buy tickets well in advance so you don’t miss out. Take time before or after to view the rest of the museum to enjoy the superb collections. Enjoy
