Highly recommend the 1 hour Globe Theatre Walking tour! Our guide Michael Thomas was insightful and delightful. He took us back in time when Shakespeare lived and beautifully left us there. Discovered so many surprising nuggets - absolutely loved it!

A great taste of historic theatre. We saw an interpretation of Romeo and Juliette, which was very enjoyable with humorous parts in places. The cast were very good. There are toilets and refreshment kiosks at the venue and also a cafe for while you are waiting. There is also a gift shop too.

We saw a great production of “The Crucible” at the Globe. The lower gallery provides excellent views. We opted for the optional seat cushion which turned out to be a good idea. The volunteer staff diligently polices the event - because the groundlings inevitably tire of standing and try to sneak into seats.
