One of the best preserved ancient theatres I've ever visited. The ruins of the city of Aspendos are also extremely interesting. Lots of excavation work still ongoing. I'd highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

We went to see the fire of Anatolia show which was set in the ancient Roman Aspendos Theatre. Great show bit of a Turkish Riverdance spectacular going on. I know other people have said you can't take anything in but you can take anything you like in. If I would have known we would have taken our towels to sit on. They check your bags on the way in looking for explosives etc. When we got inside I realised there was a VIP area that had seat cushions on the steps that you sit on we weren't given that option when I booked but whatever it was still very enjoyable. We booked before hand with Get Your Guide price was $50 each worked out about £75 for both of us which includes pick and drop off from our hotel in Side.
