I was there in winter and in fall. Each season has its wonder. The view from the top and from the cable car are breathtaking.

I visited Rigi in late December and started with a boat ride from Lucerne, which was a beautiful journey with stunning scenery. Then I took the mountain train—a unique and amazing experience. At the top, the views were breathtaking, with mountains all around and the feeling of being above the clouds. It was snowy, magical, and an unforgettable trip overall.

The third mountain on this trip and it’s still beautiful (Schilthorn, Matterhorn, and Rigi). We only hung around the station because wife decided to wear thick socks with Birkenstock up a Swiss mountain!🤨 Still, it was a bit windy but very beautiful. The trains run quite frequently, and there’s a souvenir shop, a restaurant, and toilets to keep us busy while waiting for the next train. We thoroughly enjoyed the rides on different trains up and down the mountain. The staff are so friendly and smiley! My motto for the Swiss “Rack railway”… climb like a mountain goat, as elegantly as a Hermes handbag! Thank you for everything!😍❤️👍🇨🇭
