Worth visiting. One of the biggest palaces in the world, bigger than Buckingham palace and the tour was so worth it. We skipped the audio guide since we had a kid with us but just exploring and looking at the grandeur and the stately rooms was an amazing experience. Absolutely a must visit if you are in Madrid.

Impressive building. Apartments, chapel, throne room and decorations Impressive if evidently extravagant! Unfortunately no access to kitchen. Weapons room under work, no access. Long queue on a Monday despite buying tickets online. No concessions when buying on line and no swift entry. Worth it? Possibly.

A must see for any tourist! Went during midday at the end of June with my friends and it was really hot, so it’s important to buy your tickets in advance so you don’t have to wait! There were multiple tour options and although we went for the self-guided audio tour, the app wasn’t working. This didn’t matter too much though and we still had a great time exploring, learning, and taking lots of pics!
