We did the tour in English it cost us 38 euros. We booked the 09.00am slot. When you get there go past the ticket office into the open area then through the glass doors and wait. There were about 20 people and you got an ear phone to listen to the guide. The guide was very good and the detail was excellent. The money goes to the private institute to keep up the Palau. The tour lasted 1 hr. You can stay as long as you like after the tour. Did you know that until 1980 a family lived on the top floor? Did you know the glass dome complements the music and singing due to its design? Did you know the Architect was the teacher to Gauldi?

This place is obviously incredible but actually it is more than that. We bought a paid guided tour beforehand and it certainly worth it I strongly recommend before going for a concert. They narrate the story of the building and the history. You learn about every figure sculpture many symbols that you may not pay attention and the restorations done during the history of building. Most importantly you learn and decide which seats you would like to buy for the concert or show you would like to attend by visiting every part of the hall. Tickets are usually sold out so it would be wise to buy beforehand. Hace fun

Gorgeous building, inside and outside. I wish we got concert tickets there instead of just a day visit, but that didn't fit in our itinerary... Definitely next time! Check how long you can spend there before paying, as we were informed after purchase that we only have 20 min as the Palace had something on at 11 and our visit had to be brief.
