Beautiful church. Open for public. Because of location in the centre it's quite popular. You might meet pilgrims during summer time.

We stop in this city, Pontevedra on our 10th day of Camino Porto. In Ottone, Iglesia Virgen Peregrina Pontevedra is very nice. Everyone who are here must visit.

I had the chance to visit the Igrexa da Virxe Peregrina in Pontevedra, and I was truly struck by its beauty. The church’s unique shell-shaped design is unlike anything I’ve seen before, and its neoclassical style adds to its elegance. The interior is peaceful and welcoming, with stunning artwork and details. It was fascinating to learn about its connection to the Camino de Santiago and its importance as a pilgrimage site. The church stands as a lovely symbol of both religious devotion and local history.
