It was a lovely experience climbing the 680 steps. I wasn't scared about that length of steps cause there were 4 resting points along the way. I got to see the remains of the first primary school set up by the missionaries, the magistrate court, the oba palace and other epic spots. All in all it was worth the trip and tour guide pay

I'm happy I could finally visit this place with lovely people. However, there are some key information: 1. It is such a lovely experience. But as the saying goes, 'no pain, no gain'. The first 20mins of the hiking is the most difficult. Going up the 675 stairs is very tasking. Takes a lot of toll on the legs/thighs. 2. The so-called 675 steps only accounts for about 40% of the hiking experience as the remaining part of mountain needs/no stairs. 3. Carry along with you about 2 bottles of water and a face towel. A hiking shoe would be good but it isn't mandatory as nobody cared. 4. Apart from the ₦1,000 entry fee, you would have to pay the tour guides from your own pocket. It's quite flexible. 5. No receipts were issued for the entry fee charged. Not quite sure what they do with this money in terms of benefits to the tourists. 6. Safety precautions are non-existent. The tour guides have nothing in case anything happens to you. I was expecting to see some glucose and first aid kit. No such thing. The site is not the cleanest and is littered with bottles and all sorts. Makes you wonder what they do with the entry fee charged. 7. In all, we had a good time. Took loads of memorable pictures and will forever cherish the experience.

It is indeed a sight to behold. It is a place rich in historical facts and events. It's also informative and educative. Thanks to the tour guard that helped informed us about the strategic locations.
