Guidance Makama was a delightful visit. It was filled with a lot of history and information. It sheds light to a expanded understanding to the principles around the emirate in Kano, kano before Islam and kano today. However, like most tourist site alot of the enjoyment really comes from the museum guide.

One of the most beautiful places to visit if you find yourself in Kano. With historical significance dated back, this museum keeps the history of the people of Kano with pictorial references that you would want to go back to your history books to read about Nigeria and Kano . With only 100 naira as entrance fee, you’ll have access to all the angles of this grate museum. And if you want to go deep into the history, you can get yourself a tour guide there to show you around.

Great place to learn about the ancient kano culture and ticket is N100, however, if need a. Tour guide, you will have to pay them something extra for that. But i met a great tour guide there named Noorah. Ask of him whenever you’re visiting and he will guide you through and also help you with a contact to tour the Emir palace
