So impressed at how accessible this art gallery is. It's free to visit unless you want to see a special exhibition which requires a ticket. They conduct free tours starting at 1:30pm on weekdays. They have a great creative learning centre and offer kids programming on the weekend.

A must visit for art lovers and cultural explorers - it’s free entry! So have a go at it! It’s nestled beside Albert Park and is architectural gem with a modern design. The gallery has multiple curated collections across various floors, showcasing both Māori and Pacific Island art alongside European and contemporary international works. I was quite impressed by the diverse exhibitions, ranging from traditional New Zealand art to provocative modern installations and audio-visual content. The representation of indigenous perspectives is especially commendable. Facilities are good, has a café, a gift shop on the ground floor, and friendly, knowledgeable staff.
