The Book of Kells exhibition is beautifully presented and offers great historical context, but it felt a little crowded and the viewing time for the actual manuscript was quite short. The information panels and interactive displays are well done, though, and give a fascinating look into the artistry and significance of the book. The real highlight for me, however, was the Old Library, absolutely breathtaking. The soaring shelves, scent of aged wood and leather, and the sheer sense of history make it a magical place. I would give the Old Library a solid 5 stars on its own. Overall, a must-visit if you’re in Dublin, but be prepared for queues and take your time in the library to soak it all in.

The Book of Kells exhibition at Trinity College is simply exceptional and a must-see, whether you're on a short or long trip to Dublin—definitely a top 5 attraction! The vibrant, intricate manuscript is a feast for the eyes, with its vivid colors and mesmerizing details. The audio tour is engaging and informative, bringing the history and artistry to life. The Long Room in the Old Library is equally stunning, adding to the experience. A deeply entertaining visit that’s perfect for all ages!

This is pretty incredible. It’s a beautiful presentation as you wait in line to see the actual book. It shows blown-up pictures and gives you the story of several pages so that when you see it you’re more prepared. The book itself is pretty incredible. Well preserved, and you can tell by the presence of everyone around that it’s a special artifact. The gospels or some of the greatest historical works of all time. Thankfully, this is well preserved in the writing and the beautiful paintings on the page.
