Touristy village, renowned for the cleanest village in the world. You can rent a Balinese traditional costume too. Such a tranquil place.

visiting Desa Penglipuran felt like stepping into a living cultural treasure. the area was so clean. You can rent traditional Balinese attire here at an affordable price (around 50–75k IDR). We stopped by house number 53, where two of my sisters rented their outfits. I didn’t rent one, but the kind owner still gave me a beautiful Kamboja flower as a sweet little gesture to support my photo session 😂 Such a wholesome and peaceful experience🤍

Nice little village, a bit touristy and overcrowded during the noon time. So visiting this place during the off peak time might be a better idea. Otherwise, I fully enjoyed it and can highly recommend it.
