Great combination of botanical garden and zoo. Check the times for feeding different animals and dedicated talks. I also recommend getting some sandwiches, as you will get hungry eventually. You need at least 4-6 hours to fully explore.

The best zoo in the world. I've been to all the London zoos and lots more throughout the UK and internationally — this must be the best zoo ever! It’s spacious, beautiful, clean. It wasn’t busy or crowded at all, even on a Sunday. Also it’s huge with so many animals! Which on the whole seem happy and looked after. And the gardens and greenhouses are stunning. Even the food and canteens/restaurants are lovely. We had the best day ever. And there’s so many play areas for kids as well. 10/10 you have to come if you’re in the area. You won’t regret it.

An absolutely magical place! The animals are clearly well cared for and look vibrant and healthy. I felt completely recharged walking through the stunning natural surroundings — lush greenery, colorful flowers, the sounds of birds, and the calm presence of animals all around. It’s more than a visit — it’s a peaceful retreat for the soul. Don’t miss the chance to experience the beauty of Wilhelma!
