I have to say that this is one of the Basilicas that you should not miss at all if you are in France let alone Lyon itself. Don’t go by vehicle but rather walk all the way up to the top. There are lots of good sights on the way up. Once you are there make sure you spend sometime inside because it is excellent and I mean amazing. It is very impressive and if you are there on Sunday you can attend the prayer.
