The library is white and fresh, from a distance the books look like vinyl records neatly stacked on shelves. The view from above brings to mind a small dollhouse. Each level is nicely marked. In the elevator you will find tips on what is on each floor. It is worth visiting the café, which offers a view of the city center.

The City Library at Mailänder Platz is a stunning architectural masterpiece! Designed by Eun Young Yi, its cube-shaped exterior is sleek and modern, making it a standout in Stuttgart’s cityscape. The bright, minimalist interior is breathtaking—pristine white walls, open spaces, and a five-story gallery hall bathed in natural light create an almost meditative atmosphere. Walking through the library feels like stepping into a futuristic sanctuary for books. The design is both functional and inspiring, offering quiet reading nooks, spacious study areas, and even a rooftop terrace with spectacular city views. Whether you're here for research or simply to admire the architecture, this place is an absolute must-visit.

Just wonderful!! Really clean and well taken care of. The stuff is really nice and helpful. Great place to study + the whole floor of books just for children, with fun areas and places for little readers. There is also a really good cafe on top. We saw that there is a rooftop as well, unfortunately it was closed when we were there((
