Most modern library I have been to in Europe so far. Stunning interior architecture with a large open centre, revealing the different floors. The material in the library covers a wide range of topics. Ample reading and studying areas with sofas, desks and workstations.

The central atrium is stunning, and it’s a great spot for reading or relaxing. But the best part is going up to the top floor, you get an incredible view of the whole city!

This is one of Stuttgart's most photographed buildings and for good reason. The city library on Mailänder Platz not only impresses with its breathtaking architecture, but also with its central children's library, music library and graphics library. It was a pleasure visiting it and spending an hour or so just wandering around.
