Amazing place, it was so calm during the weekday, almost nobody else was there, I could breathe in the atmosphere of the place properly. I have bought the combi ticket, which allows you to go to the palace as well, but only with a guide. Normally the tour is in German only, but I was the only one guest at the time, so the guide did her best to explain a few things in English, which is normally not her task. That was well appreciated, amazing staff. Would recommend.

Probably the best castle tour we took. The old monastery has been preserved in its original state with its rich and storied history. The church is still in use and is closed to tourists on Sundays. The grounds are in excellent condition and give you true feeling of 16th century living. The tour of the castle was entirely in German but worth the € as it was super informative.
