For the first time in my life, I had the chance to witness with my own eyes the beauty and experience the “aroma” of the blooming of the world’s largest flower — the Titan arum. It’s truly something incredible!

The botanical garden boasts three hemispherical greenhouses, each designed for a different climate: the largest is devoted to tropical plants, while the others are dedicated to subtropical and savannah plants. There are numerous species of palm trees, tree ferns, orchids and more, as well as three aquariums that recreate the atmosphere of rivers in Central Africa, South America and Southeast Asia.

Beautiful garden and three greenhouses. It is incredible, but free entry. Nice to walk through and enjoy flowers, trees and all plants there. There’s a cafeteria, so you can take a break during your walk. You could also take some sandwiches and have picnic in the garden. I also strongly recommend for family. Kids can learn a lot in „Erlebnisgarten“. It’s a fun to visit and stroll here and always can learn something new.
