This place was cool with lots of cars, trains and planes. However it was too hot where the trains were. It was also very crowded even though it was a weekday. Overall it was ok.

This is the Swiss Smithsonian museum. What an awesome spot. I don’t have kids, but if I did, I could’ve spent the entire day here. There are so many different things to look at, and it is very interactive. Buy the Lucerne Museum pass to get access to this museum, while it doesn’t include the planetarium or the theater, there is plenty to do an hours of fun to spend at this museum. Everything is included in the price of admission, for the transportation, museum itself, which includes racing simulators, helicopter, and plane, simulators, and so many interactive pieces. There are videos, audio, and lots to look at. I recommend planning out your adventure before you arrive. We spent two hours here, and we could’ve easily spent two days here. They have other entertainment area areas as well as cafés. Super close to local bus stops that get you back to the city center in less than five minutes, or have a walk along the river.

If you have children or are a kid stuck in a grown-up's body, you should make the pilgrimage to this well curated and updated Museum of Transport. The museum features every kind of transport and explores the unique technologies of each. There are interactive displays of many types that children and adults will enjoy - indoors and out! If you love museums and/or you are an engineer or technically fluent, you should budget several hours for your first visit.
