Steak was above average. Price was a little steep for what you get. It comes only with one side. Meat portion was good. Great location. Server was a kind of rude at first. I guess the don't like tourist but at the end of our meal his customer service skills improved by a lot.

Good spot for a spontaneous steak dinner in the beautiful Old Town! They offer a variety of steak cuts, including their own dry aged selection, which really sets them apart from other hot stone restaurants in the city! Genuinely enjoyable to be able to cook your steak to your preferred doneness, making for an interactive and personalised experience. Value for money wise, meat quality is excellent, you definitely get what you pay for. On the other end, the experience of the service is heavily reliant on who serves you - over the years I had good and bad ones. Last time we visited, we were sitting outside and requested new stones as they got cold. However, it came off that they seemed rather annoyed to bring a new one, as if i‘d be something out of the ordinary. We then waited quite some time (20+ mins), where in the meantime you sadly can‘t enjoy your steak. When paying the bill, we tipped approx 15% and the server just said „okay thanks, bye“ without even looking us in the eyes. Very odd..

We visited this restaurant in the old town, drawn by its cozy atmosphere and good reviews. The interior is indeed pleasant, creating a nice setting for a leisurely dinner, and the service is polite and attentive. However, the main highlight of a steakhouse should be the meat, and unfortunately, this is where the restaurant disappointed us. The steak was rather dry and lacked flavor—it simply wasn’t juicy or rich enough. The side dish was quite good, but it couldn’t make up for the main course’s shortcomings. The prices are high, but that’s expected in Zurich. Overall, the experience was mixed—nice atmosphere, average food quality, and a steep price tag. If they improve the quality of their meat, this place could be great, but for now, it's a 3 out of 5.
