Lovely park set in the heart of the Oud-West neighborhood. As other reviews note, there is an open air amphitheater, brewpub, and playgrounds. The paths are easy to navigate and it is mostly flat. There seemed to be a lot of people using the park throughout the morning to lunch time. It is a bit difficult to find available benches to sit, as there were so many people, but if you have a blanket you could sit in the grass. It is great to explore — make sure to look for the sculpture installations.

My favourite park in Amsterdam, I might be bias because it’s close to where I live, nevertheless, it’s a very nice green park where lots of people get to sport, run, do rollerblading and bike, as well as picnic and just chill… sometimes the park hosts concerts, and it has the perfect place for a nice walk in a green area in the heart of Amsterdam.
