Visited Universal Studios Japan yesterday and had an amazing time! However, I would strongly recommend getting the Express Pass — without it, the long waiting times make it really hard to fully enjoy the park in a single day. The highlight was definitely Super Nintendo World — it's an absolute must-visit! The attention to detail, the rides, and the overall experience were truly impressive. We also loved the Jurassic Park ride — super fun and exciting, especially the final drop! The park overall has a great atmosphere, but to make the most of it, the Express Pass is worth every yen. Definitely a memorable experience, but plan ahead to avoid the queues!

We were blown away by Universal Studios, even more so than when we visited Disneyland in Tokyo about a week prior. The attention to detail is incredible in any area of the park you’re in. This park, while large, is not huge so you can usually see and do everything you want to in one day. We spent easily half of our time in the Nintendo world section of the park, oh how I had dreamed of this since I was a child! My wife being a Harry Potter fan really enjoyed that section of the park as well, the butter beets were delicious. Make sure to do some research before you go - some places require a reservation for lunch or require you to be at a very specific spot to get a preferred time slot to eat, such as Toad’s cafe in Nintendo World (super delicious food by the way). Expect to spend your whole day here if you want to experience everything.

Really enjoyed my visit here. As a foreigner all the workers were super nice and most spoke English. The express passes REALLY help if you can get one. Mario world is the biggest attraction and definitely the longest wait. I would recommend getting in there as early as you can if you can. It can be a real PIA wait for all three rides in there. The other areas seem to be fine with wait times maybe a tad long but nothing terrible. Even so the park is great and clean. Lots of things to do and see. Great staff with a great time even in the rain!
