This is a must-visit temple if you’re in the Kansai area or heading to Osaka. It’s believed to bring good luck and drive away bad energy. The walk from the nearest station is about 850 meters, so be prepared for a bit of a walk — but it’s definitely worth it. Make sure to bring coins, as there’s no coin exchange available at the shrine. One of the highlights is the cute Hello Kitty charms that make perfect souvenirs. I visited in September 2024.

What other shrine has a giant lion head? This super unique shrine was pleasant to visit, and it’s not very large so you won’t need much more than half an hour to admire it. The staff on site are very friendly and there’s a shop to purchase small charms and ema boards to write your wishes on. It’s much more peaceful and serene in the morning before the tourists pour in.

A bit far from metros, but u can see a gigantic lion head shaped building here. You should come here in the morning if you want to avoid the crowd because it will be difficult to take pictures (if thats what u come here for) else it’s a fine place. Not too many options of activities here.
