An unforgettable experience! The HEP Five Ferris Wheel offers stunning panoramic views of Osaka, especially at night when the city lights up. The ride is smooth and relaxing, and the air-conditioned gondolas make it comfortable even on warmer days. Located right in the heart of the city, it’s super convenient to access and a perfect break from shopping or sightseeing. Highly recommend it for couples, families, or anyone wanting a unique perspective of Osaka!

HEP FIVE in Osaka is a loud, youthful, and unapologetically energetic shopping and entertainment hub — basically a magnet for teens, tourists, and trend-chasers in the heart of Umeda. The iconic red Ferris wheel on the roof is the main draw — a short but scenic ride with sweeping views of the city, especially great around sunset or at night when Osaka lights up. Inside, HEP FIVE is all about fashion-forward streetwear, anime merch, accessories, and loud pop music blasting from every floor. You’ll find brands like WEGO, SPINNS, and other edgy Japanese labels that cater to a younger, Gen Z crowd. There’s also arcades, purikura photo booths, and themed cafes scattered throughout, making it more than just a place to shop — it’s a full-on vibe. It’s busy, a little chaotic, but super fun if you’re into youth culture and don’t mind the buzz. Not a must for luxury or traditionalists, but for people-watching, playful chaos, and a spin on a Ferris wheel? Absolutely worth a stop.

The location was easy to find. There was no wait time even though it is a Sunday. We used the Osaka amazing pass which I would recommend for those who are coming to Osaka for the 1st time.
