Free entrance, Easy to reach in 15min from Ipiales. Nice simple church build in the rock. Interesting also the underground museum (5.000 pesos) You can walk around, down to the river, you have a nice path. Or stay around, go the the waterfall in the front

It's a nice place during the night since you can appreciate the lights however this place is lacking maintenance and you can see the place need more attention. There's dog feces , garbage ... Very sad ... I believe this place should charge an entry fee to use this money to maintain the place ..

This was the main reason for our trip. Unfortunately what should be a holy site has turned into a tourist trap. The priests have to get this under control. The museum access is down several flights of stairs and that is really no problem except when the museum is closed for lunch and there is no sign at the top of the staircase so you made the trip for nothing. Too commercial. Sad.
